Javrie's Restaurante & Pizzeria Gurney Paragon Review

Image
Hidden at the corner of the building somewhere in Gurney Paragon is this little known restaurant serving pizzas and one of the most unique burger I have ever had. Their main attraction? Ramen burger of course. Spacious setting for patrons comfort. I liked the deco's on the walls actually Cappuccino served in their unique cup You may say burger are too mainstream nowadays with every street in Penang literally having a burger joint right? No the thing is Javries uses ramen to substitute their buns Chicken Teriyaki Ramen Burger RM15++ ala carte. At first bite I could feel the juicy chicken covered with teriyaki sauce. Something else familiar was in there. Wasabi(optional but do let them know if you can't take it) that added to the unique taste. As the sauce and juice drips out, it was caught by the ramen bun. This made the ramen bun equally as tasty as the tender chicken. Next is their Italiano pizza RM25.8++. Somehow my friends gave bad r...

Day Out at Gurney Paragon

Image
What do you do on a hot sunny weekends? You can stay home but somehow your electricity bill is just going to go up from the air cond that is constantly on. So I did what most Malaysians would do.. Go to the nearest mall.. Newly opened not long ago was this new mall in Penang called the Gurney Paragon. Actually I was there with a mission. Food hunt to try all the new food around Penang has been one of my weekend activities. I don't know about you buy many would say that food court food are substandard. Well I thought that too but was proven wrong in this instance. Yes I went to their food court called Just Food. At first glance they look like the Singaporean Mall food court. The food court is currently pork free and they are looking at expanding to a full Halal section. Another thing to note is that the price you see is the price you pay. No taxes, Fully air conditioned and spacious. The first place I visit. The drink stall.. Nothing taste better than a cup of fr...
