BBQ Chicken Kelana Jaya Review


Heard of this Korea's No1 Chicken Restaurant? But wait, why does BBQ chicken doesn't have any Barbeque Chicken dish? That's cause it stands for Best of the Best Quality Chicken. So how did they fare in terms of place, quality and food? Read on to find out..


 I visited their branch at Kelana Jaya PJ just behind Giant Hypermarket for this review invitation by KIPLE which is an app that allows users to get discounts, exclusive offers at merchants while pay using the e wallet function. The place features a fully air conditioned dining area comfortable for lunch and also dinner.


For starters for big eaters like me, we start with their salad. The sous-vide chicken salad has it's chicken vacumm cooked for 24 hours under low heat to retain it's juice paired with fresh greens. The health conscious could even have this as their main.


Next comes the Kimchi Jjigae which is the Korean Stew which is vegetarian.


One could also add on that as a set with white rice and Soy Garlic Chicken


My personal favorite, charbroiled chicken served with Korean fried rice with sunny sides up. The egg takes the trophy


Hot Hot Chicken. There's a divide in people having this. Either you can take spicy or not. For me it's ok and Loved every bit of this spicy fried chicken


Next another dish that will make you go Oppa Gangnam style.. Black pepper fried chicken wings. Less spicy than hot hot chicken but tasty nonetheless.


Final dish on the list(My stomach could only take that much lol) is this Bulgogi, you could request that they do a chicken variant for those who doesn't take beef like me. I call this the ALL IN ONE balanced diet, meat, vege, egg, rice. One pot fits it all.

Rapid KL LIED!! TIPU!!

I have been a Rapid KL user since the days of Intrakota and Star LRT. Yes, that roughly tells you how long I had relied on public transport to move around KL. I mean the infrequent train and the rise in fares had affected me in a bad way but it's still bearable. The cost of taking the bus home had risen from a mere RM40++ for RM2 daily bus pass to RM100 for a bus pass. This doesn't include the train rides I take. To make it worse, they boast LIED in their brochures that "SAVE 50% on fares when you buy passes". I think the brochures should be rewritten as "YOU PAY EXTRA 100% on fares even when you buy passes" or "WE EARN DOUBLE FROM PASS SALES".
