Ramadan Bufet Selera Kampung @ Mines Beach Resort

It's that time of the year where my Muslim friends starts asking the annual question: Eh this year mana sedap berbuka? Nak tempat sedap, nak tempat relax, kalau ada tepi pantai lagi syiok dan best... Ooooo.. I have just the place.. Berbuka tepi pantai pulak tu. Mana? Mines Beach Resort lor! So what's the menu and price like? Trust me seratus pun tak payah! Mana Mana? Sabar lah

Kambing Golek! The best part of any Ramadan buffet for me is definitely the kambing golek for sure. Look at those juicy whole ribs!

And then there's the Gulai Kawah. Ps The duck(itik salai masak lemak) is a must try.. Grab their freshly made murtabak, roti canai or roti john and dip them in

Ulam-ulam and salad bar for the various selection of cold salads and pasta. p.s you would find the Malaysian favourite fruits rojak here too

Grill your own Satay! Feel you would grill a better satay than the chef? This is the time to show your loved ones your care by grilling some good satay for them!

Sambal Udang, Ayam Kurma, Ikan Tenggiri Kari and other assorted kampung dishes are served here.. My favourite? Prawns of course.. I could eat all the seafood I love!

Daging Semur according to my beef eating friends is a must try delicacy from Jawa

Grill Station is definitely the favourite of all meat eaters.. unlimited grilled lamb shoulders, chicken thighs, grilled prawns, even ikan bakar melayu wrapped in banana leaves!

Another of my personal recommendation Fried Baby Crabs. Crispy and flavourful

Shawarma Station where the Chef from Palestine would grill your Shawarma and serve them alongside his specialty mandy rice

Kuih Muihs and cakes.. I am hooked on the baklava and ondeh ondehs

Kids Station where even adults would become a kid again with fries and nuggets. Did I mention they serve pizza too? Next to it would be all the festive drinks like the air kurma, my personal favourite the tembikai laici, chilled longan, and teh ais cincau

Rapid KL LIED!! TIPU!!

I have been a Rapid KL user since the days of Intrakota and Star LRT. Yes, that roughly tells you how long I had relied on public transport to move around KL. I mean the infrequent train and the rise in fares had affected me in a bad way but it's still bearable. The cost of taking the bus home had risen from a mere RM40++ for RM2 daily bus pass to RM100 for a bus pass. This doesn't include the train rides I take. To make it worse, they boast LIED in their brochures that "SAVE 50% on fares when you buy passes". I think the brochures should be rewritten as "YOU PAY EXTRA 100% on fares even when you buy passes" or "WE EARN DOUBLE FROM PASS SALES".
