The Kim Ma restaurant, serving contemporary Chinese cuisine is part of the Palace of the Golden Horses where one could dine like a king at an affordable price.


It's modern Chinese design is sure to impress your colleagues, friends and family.


The seating capacity is only 120 with 5 private rooms in a spacious 3013sq ft area is sure spacious for one to have their meals at a peace of mind.


The latest Fortune Set Menu is a creation of their in house Chef Chris which features 3 different sets starting from RM1088nett for a table for 10 where one would start off with tossing of the Norwegian Salmon and Top Shell prosperity yee sang or a selection of double hot and cold appetizer combination


Then move on to the hearty Double Boiled Minced Chicken Broth with superior fish maw and shimeiji mushrooms


Then we have the aromatic Cantonese smoked salted poached chicken. Chickens used are free range chickens to ensure you have the best taste.


Like the chinese saying "年年有余" (Nian nian you yu)  or abundance through the year, the fish is the symbol of abundance and a must have, they serve the traditional steamed river cat fish served in superior soy sauce


Next we have assorted mushroom dumpling served with seasonal green veg and garnished with pumpkin sauce. 


Like in all other traditional Chinese new year dishes, the prawn is a must as in the cantonese word "Har", it symbolizes the sound of laughter aka heheharhar. With that, the chef's creation the stir fried large tiger prawns with Mongolian Sauce which is surely a finger licking experience for most.


Then we had the steamed mini glutinous rice with roasted duck individually wrapped in lotus leaves. The aromatic fragrance of the leaves and the roast duck makes this one a truly tasty dish to remember.


We always have the Chinese water dessert for the sweet ending and this is no difference here as in we were served with the chef's "Tong Sui" which is the double boiled pineapple and water chestnut with peach jelly.

Lastly we have the Chinese New Year Sweet Fancy Duet

Rapid KL LIED!! TIPU!!

I have been a Rapid KL user since the days of Intrakota and Star LRT. Yes, that roughly tells you how long I had relied on public transport to move around KL. I mean the infrequent train and the rise in fares had affected me in a bad way but it's still bearable.
