SkySymphony Theatre of Lights & Sound @ Resort World Genting


I am always attracted to sound, lights and thing that moves. Who wouldn't right? Remember that popular kinetic rain in Changi Airport? Never been there? It's ok. I found something better. How about one that would light up individually with 5 screens? Above all it's 6000feet up high where you could enjoy the cooling weather and watch it for free. Read on to find out more... p.s. It is located on Level 1 of the newly opened colourful SkyAvenue Resort World Genting.


Colourful right? Reminds me of the colorful streets of Taiwan and Tokyo. So who says you need to travel far to see nice things?


At the end you would see this great hall with 5 vertical screens. It's hard to miss it but if you do, it's just outside SkyCasino.


The shows runs every day at the intervals of every 2 hours from 10am to 6pm and thereafter once every hour till Midnight.


There would be different show(total of 3 different shows, Forest, Urban Symphony and The Goddess) every round so you could stay there and watch the other shows too.


Well I fell in love with the moving colorful winch balls which combines to create a symphony of light show.


Did you know the whole setting is made up of 1001 winch balls.


It is also the largest winch ball installation and the first multimedia winch attraction in Asia


The winch balls are suspended over 4 storeys high making it a breathtaking view even up close.


How fast can the balls go? 17.5m in 6 seconds.

Rapid KL LIED!! TIPU!!

I have been a Rapid KL user since the days of Intrakota and Star LRT. Yes, that roughly tells you how long I had relied on public transport to move around KL. I mean the infrequent train and the rise in fares had affected me in a bad way but it's still bearable. The cost of taking the bus home had risen from a mere RM40++ for RM2 daily bus pass to RM100 for a bus pass. This doesn't include the train rides I take. To make it worse, they boast LIED in their brochures that "SAVE 50% on fares when you buy passes". I think the brochures should be rewritten as "YOU PAY EXTRA 100% on fares even when you buy passes" or "WE EARN DOUBLE FROM PASS SALES".
