Italian Cuisine @ Bistro Cascata, Cyberjaya


Eh Kellaw, I am going to Cyber for a meeting with one of the clients. Where do I bring him? What about a romantic dinner with my Darling after that for dinner? I want some nice impressive place. Best if they serve Italian cuisine. It's hard to find nice ones nowadays.


And so I told him about this place. It's an Italian Fusion restaurant with great ambience. Just nice for an evening lunch meeting or that romantic candlelight dinner you are planning for your darling.


It spots a castle like setting with brick walls and tall chairs


Large enough for a dozen or so of couples so you could enjoy your dinner quietly with those who matters most to you. The place also serves an Ala-carte or set menus


I also found out they have a second floor


Curiosity took the better of me. VIP lounge? Ok enough about the place, Let's go to the drinks.


They serve a variety of fresh pressed juices for the health savvy ones.


Then they also serve mocktails


For those who just need some hot drinks, they also serve coffee


or even hot tea. My personal choice? Hot Chamomile for the relaxing night


Lastly, what would an Italian restaurant be if it doesn't have the Italian Mineral Water, Acqua Panna right?


Smoked Salmon Gravlax. What I love most about this other than the salmon was the gracious amount of grated cheese on top of the caesar's salad.


Juicy tasty marinated scallops. Was going for a second


Something to warm the stomach before the mains? Mushroom soup? Yes they serve that but I would recommend something more special. A must try for all crab lovers. The thick crab taste with chunky crab meats paired with breads makes this the perfect soup to try.


Did someone say crisp baked pizzas from the pizza oven? Slices of medium rare beef as topping? This is something new to me.


Grilled Rib Eye steak with Rosemary Beef Jus. Pefect according to my fellow blogger mate who had the whole plate with his partner


Roasted Lamb Rack topped with Grain mustard sauce. Roasted to juicy medium rare, this is one of the must try dishes


Cod fish. Who doesn't like fresh braised cod fish right? Served with potato and garlic vegetables


The last must try main would be the Whole Boston Lobster grilled to perfection served with lemon butter vegetables and their homemade pasta Aglio-Alio.


We heard screams for desserts. Try their lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream served on a chocolate cup.


Or their pistachio creme brulee. Rich with the aromatic pistachio, this is something which one can't get commonly outside.


Italian Tiramisu, rich in Mascarpone cheese and cocoa powder, this is one dish best and tastiest eaten cold.

Rapid KL LIED!! TIPU!!

I have been a Rapid KL user since the days of Intrakota and Star LRT. Yes, that roughly tells you how long I had relied on public transport to move around KL. I mean the infrequent train and the rise in fares had affected me in a bad way but it's still bearable. The cost of taking the bus home had risen from a mere RM40++ for RM2 daily bus pass to RM100 for a bus pass. This doesn't include the train rides I take. To make it worse, they boast LIED in their brochures that "SAVE 50% on fares when you buy passes". I think the brochures should be rewritten as "YOU PAY EXTRA 100% on fares even when you buy passes" or "WE EARN DOUBLE FROM PASS SALES".
