Old Spice Cafe, A modern classic cafe in Ampang

Hidden near the City Center near Ampang Point at M-City is this Halal modern classic which serves Arab Asian and Western fusion cuisine. It features a comfortable setting and relaxing ambience to dine in. Opens early enough for a morning breakfast before heading to work and is still open late into the night so you could spend some quality time with your loved ones over a cup of tea and fruit juice. Read on to find out more...

It's located and visible from the road side. Just look for M-city on google maps or waze. Best part is parkings are aplenty and you could park right in front of the cafe too.

At the front there are sofa styles seatings with magazines and books.

There are also round tables for a comfortable seatings

My favourite. The old Asian coffeeshop style seatings with high partition

There are also seatings on the top which features the traditional Asian sit on the floor tables.

There's also another table by the window where you could look at the night lights and enjoy your tea.

Let's start with drinks. The favourite Asian Sea Coconut Longan. Freshly prepared daily so you get the original flavours of the traditional made drink.

A Modern Virgin Mojito, a refreshing cooling lime juice with a touch of salt. Note: This drink doesn't contain any alcohol.

Drink with a touch of western chocolatey shake, this creamy drink is one of the best chocolate shake one could get.

Now let's get to the food. The Fajita Wrap brings the element of the traditional Arabian Kebab wrap and features chuncky beef wrapped in freshly toasted wraps served with chips.

This dish served with rice is a chicken and potatoes dish well marinated in it's rich, creamy and spicy sauce. The sauce makes a perfect compliment with rice.

One of the must try for all prawn lovers. Cooked in the same sauce as the Chili Chicken, the de-shelled juicy and fresh prawns make it easy to eat and less of a mess. The juices from the prawn made the sauce more flavorful and a different kind of deliciousness compared to the chicken version.

This spicy sweet salty lamb dish is actually lamb marinated with soy sauce, the chef's secret recipe which makes it spicy and cooked to perfection. This is a must try and I literally cleaned the whole plate. I am definitely going back for more.

Finally we have the grilled chicken topped with peri peri sauce. A western dish with a twist of the spicy sauce paired with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes.

For dessert, we are served the traditional Malay dish called the Pengat Pisang which is banana cooked in Brown Sugar(Gula Melaka) and made thick with sago.

Finally we have the Ice Cream. This is not just the normal ice cream you get in the market. It's vanilla ice cream served on whole passion fruits and topped with passion fruit sauce. Perfect for fruit lovers.

Wanted your hands on the juicy delicious dishes and more served here?
